ALTAANZ Conference 2016

ALTAANZ hosted its third stand alone conference at the University of Auckland in November 2016.  Reports from the conference, including the second teachers' colloquium and the inaugural students' meeting, can be found in our March 2017 newsletter.

ALTAANZ Conference 2014

ALTAANZ hosted its second conference at the University of Queensland on the 27th to 29th of November 2014.  The conference was very successful, with again, more than 100 local and international attendees. ALTAANZ Conference 2012 

ALTAANZ hosted its first conference at the University of Sydney on the 9th and 10th of November 2012. The conference was a huge success, with over 100 registered attendees. More information on the conference can be found here.


Conference strands

ALAA/ALANZ/ALTAANZ CONFERENCE ADELAIDE 2015

In 2015 ALTAANZ became the third member of the alliance which organises the premiere Applied Linguistics Conference in the Australia/New Zealand region.  The conference included a very well attended language testing and assessment strand, and a plenary presentation from ALTAANZ's invited guest, Professor Constant Leung of King's College, London.


ALAA/ALANZ CONFERENCE WELLINGTON 2013


In 2013, there was a 'Language Testing and Assessment' strand at the combined ALANZ & ALAA Conference held at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, from the 27th - 29th November. ALTAANZ organised this stream in association with ALANZ & ALAA. 

ALAA/ALANZ CONFERENCE CANBERRA 2011

In 2011, ALTAANZ organized a conference strand entitled 'Issues in Assessment and Testing in Applied Linguistics' at the combined ALAA/ALANZ conference in Canberra, from the 30th November - 2nd December.
